Dessert Contest

Dessert Contest Sponsored by Steven Teets with Willow House

$300 is prizes available!

This contest will be judged on Thursday, August 5th. All entries must be turned in between 5pm and 7 pm. The contest is open to all ages with 2 age categories. The adult category is 18 and over and the youth category is 17 and under. Sorry no professional bakers are allowed.

Bed and Outhouse Races

The Bed and Outhouse Races will be held this year on Saturday August 7th. Registration to begin at 7:45 p.m. and the race to start promptly at 8:00 p.m. This years race is sponsored by Jays Septic. Prizes are awarded tot he first 3 places. $75 - 1st place, $25 - 2nd place, and toilet seat for 3rd place. The registration form below has all the details you need. If you have further questions the contact information is on the form. We encourage you to register in advance to reserve your spot. We have a limited number of spots available so register early!

Blueberry Parade

2010 Blueberry Parade

2010 is the 30th Annual Blueberry Festival. The Dowtown Development Authority and Chamber of Commerce are working to make this year the best festival ever!! Join in on the fun.

The Blueberry Parade is going to be on Saturday, August 7, 2010. To participate, download the form below and return it with your check to the DDA at 150 North Main Street, Imlay City, MI 48444. Applications are due by July 16, 2010. If you are a non-profit, you may fax your application or email it to 810-724-1861 or mirelan@imlaycity.org. You participate for free so there is no need to send a check :)

Blueberry Stomp - 5k Run/Walk

Join us for the Blueberry Stomp 5K event on August 7th at 8:30 a.m. Registration will take place at City Hall at 7:30 a.m. Race will begin at the corner of Almont Avenue and Fourth Street (near the Ruth Hughes Memorial Library). Call 810.724.2135 for more information!
