Imlay City Blueberry Festival

The 34th Annual Blueberry Festival will be held in downtown Imlay City on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26.

We are excited to announce Michigan's own Chris Cakes will be in town on Thursday, May 1 to provide a lot of pancakes and a lot of fun!  Don't miss out on a pancake dinner to be held at Weston Elementary School from 5-7pm on Thursday, May 1.  All-you-can-eat pancakes served with sausage, orange drink, coffee and of course, blueberry topping, for just $7 per person.  Kids 2 and under are free. Spunky the Clown will be twisting balloons and June Bug will offer complimentary face painting.  Thank you to Frontier Communications for sponsoring our entertainment! Raffles will be offered throughout the night.

The dinner will benefit both the Blueberry Festival and Weston Elementary School.  Bring the family and enjoy delicious pancakes and lots of flippin'!  Chris has been featured on the Food Network and holds Guinness Book of World Records for most pancakes made in one hour and highest pancakes tossed and caught!

Welcome to Imlay City!

Last fall, R-Squared Builders reconstructed the Welcome Sign located on M-21 just west of the city.  The sign was in much needed repair and had to be rebuilt.

We love how the new sign looks... it will be even better when we place emblems of our local nonprofits back on the sign.  We are waiting for a "break" in winter so keep your eyes open for a true Welcome to Imlay City sign!
The Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the Four County Community Foundation and the Lapeer County Community Foundation for generously supporting this much-needed project.
