Despite the cold weather, last year's Merchant Trick or Treat was a huge success with an estimated attendance of 1200-1500 people.  Extreme Dance put on an outstanding performance to “If I only Had A Brain” to kickoff our event. We had over 50 area merchants participate and over 1200 Trick or Treaters. Many said we topped 2009's high attendance with many scrambling to find more candy to pass out. We also awarded Capac State Bank with the award for “Best Decoration”. Capac State Bank touched on every aspect of decorating, from the lights, music, fog machine, leaves all over the floor and even the employee costumes. 

 

We also award Trendsetters Salon with an award for Best Costumes.  They had a theme within the store of witches and all were dressed in the Witching Best!  Congratulations to our winners and thank you to all the merchants and Trick or Treaters for participating.  A special thank you to Sue Howard at Extreme Dance for putting on another great performance and judges Monica Irelan and Kathy Rommety.
