| Networking Opportunities
The Chamber hosts 12 or more networking events throughout
the year. The casual gatherings are
scheduled to help you make new contacts, form business relationships and promote
your business. Our “Good Morning Imlay
City” and “Lunch and Learn” events have a brief program or seminar and a
nominal fee is charged to provide light refreshments or a meal. Sponsorships for a "Good Morning Imlay City" or "Lunch N Learn" are available for $25 and entitles the business to promotional opportunities including a 10 minute presentation. Non-profits may sponsor one networking event a year at no charge. The “Business After Hours” is held at a
member’s business location and appetizers and beverages are provided. These events offer the opportunity for
business recognition, sponsorships, speaking and facilitating opportunities and
custom opportunities for you to gain added exposure.
Events and Promotions
The Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce not only hosts
networking events but also sponsors the annual Blueberry Festival, entering its
32nd year in 2012. The Blueberry Festival draws an average of 9,000 attendees
from Lapeer, Oakland, Macomb and Sanilac Counties. Over 1,550 people attend the
Chamber’s annual Merchant Trick or Treat, Dinner Dance and Imlay City’s Winter
Playground.
These promotions help to bring thousands of visitors and local communities to
our businesses and are economically beneficial to our members.
