Welcome to Imlay City, Gateway to the Thumb. At the heart of Imlay City you will find our historical society and museum striving to preserve the past for future generations. Our area is rich with history and community spirit. The Imlay City community offers a warm and friendly hometown atmosphere and country setting, with all the conveniences of a larger city. The business and industrial areas are thriving, and the residential areas are growing to meet the demands of our expanding community. Our educational system encompasses Imlay City and five townships, and is committed to excellence.

I hope that you will take the time to visit our area throughout the year. Bring the family and participate in our Blueberry Festival and Eastern Michigan Fair festivities.
